About me

I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science from École normale supérieure and Inria, under the supervision of Josef Sivic (now at CTU Prague), Nicolas Mansard (LAAS-CNRS) and Ivan Laptev (Inria).

During my Ph.D., I focused on human and object pose estimation, 3D motion reconstruction, and force estimation from images. In particular, I have developed the “Motion-Forces from Video” framework for extracting dynamic information about the human body and objects. The output could be applied to control a robot to achieve an object manipulation task. This work was shortlisted for best paper at CVPR 2019.

In the summer of 2023, I relocated to Hong Kong with my wife and started my career as AI researcher at Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab. My current interests lie in the extraction and modeling of object manipulation skills from visual data, as well as text-to-robot motion retrieval and generation.
