I have successfully defended my PhD thesis

I am pleased to announce that I have successfully defended my PhD dissertation at 5 p.m. (Central European Time) on Friday, 17th February, 2023, in Paris.

The jury members were (alphabetical): Justin Carpentier (École Normale Supérieure, Inria), Andrea Cherubini (LIRMM, Université de Montpellier), Vincent Lepetit (École des Ponts ParisTech), Patrick Pérez (Valeo.ai) and Gül Varol (École des Ponts ParisTech).

As many have said, the journey to PhD was like climbing a high peak step by step accompanied with many challenges, frustration, but also encouragement and trust. I would like to express my gratitude to my supervisors, Josef Sivic and Nicolas Mansard, for their unreserved encouragement and trust. I would also like to thank all the members of the Willow team, and all the researchers who I have directly or indirectly collaborated with.

Special thanks go to my colleagues from the Gepetto team in Toulouse and the IMPACT team in Prague.

Finally, I would like to thank my wife, Yawen, for her patience and unconditional support. I am forever grateful.
